About daycare
- Väike Päike Montessori daycare provides education through Montessori curriculum.
- Our mission is to direct children’s energy and curiosity to develop their full potential in a safe, loving, and affirming environment.
- The Montessori method encourages independence by children’s natural exploration and own pace.
- The guide Margarita Raaliste is trained by the Administration Montessori Internationale (AMI) at the appropriate age level (0-3).
- The childcare has a well-balanced division of ages as well as an appropriate number of children to ensure social development: 10 to 14 children. Every child will have time to adapt to the community, so children will enter the group one by one gradually.
- Childcare is open Monday – Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM
- Community is scheduled five days per week with substantial 2 hour uninterrupted work periods every morning and outside play every day in any weather

Margarita in daily work observed that the Montessori prepared environment leads toddlers to independence and concentration; learns a set of concrete life skills and self-confidence – but, more importantly, develops the ability to make their own choices.
