Viimsi Montessori Daycare

In the fall of 2023, Väike Päike opened a Montessori group for children aged 3-6 in the Viimsi area.

One of the cornerstones of Montessori pedagogy is a prepared environment, which uses materials and activities that support child-led discovery and learning. Another cornerstone is trained and prepared adults who support children on this journey.

In the Väike Päike Montessori group, a developmental environment based on Montessori pedagogy has been created.

The group’s instructor, Helina Sepp, completed the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) 3-6 age group instructor training in August 2023.

Maria Montessori believed that children learn best through everyday activities that support their independence; by using materials that offer tangible and sensory experiences. Movement, social interaction, and the holistic mental development of the child are also crucial. All children in the 3-6 age group have the opportunity to follow their interests, freely choose activities, and be creative and social.

Helina on väga hooliv ja südamlik – seda on näha nii tema tegevustes lastega, kui ka sellest, kuidas ta lapsevanemate muresid kuulab ja nendele kiireid lahendusi otsib.

Lapsed on väärtustatud ja suhtutakse austavalt igasse isiksusse. Iga lapse isiklikku arengut silmas pidades toetatakse nende iseseisvust ja tegutsemistahet. Hindan võimalikult autentse Montessori lähenemise viljelemist vastavale vanuserühmale. Siin on lapsest lähtuv, hooliv, kujundav, inspireeriv keskkond ja inimesed.

Hindan kõige rohkem, et lapsed tulevad hoiust koju „tass täis“ olekuga.
