The activities of the art club focus on supporting the child’s creativity, self-expression skills and the development of the child’s artistic sense. The aim is to guide children to discover and experiment with various forms of art and ways of expression. The child will learn to use various art supplies, to express their feelings and creativity through them, and to make their ideas come to life. In addition, artistic activities support the development of the child’s hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Colour studies help the child to develop an understanding of primary colours and how to use them to mix various shades.
The art club is taught by Viimsi head of education Mari Kummer.
